Shannon Randall lives and works in the Fredericton area where he grew up and continues to receives his inspiration. After receiving a certificate of Communication Design from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, Shannon returned to further expand his creative horizons with the Diploma of Fine Craft in Photography. While attending college Shannon received two arts award scholarships, the ArtsNB and the NBCC Foundation award, as well having works published in the winter 2010 and fall 2011 issues of PhotoEd magazine and exhibitions at the Saint John Art Center and for Timeraiser 150.
Shannon also collaborated with local book publisher Carlena Munn to produce a pictorial book documenting many aspects of life in his home town Fredericton New Brunswick. This publication "Fredericton The Celebration" was a successful endeavor to create awareness of the many dynamics of Fredericton and to raise money both for the Lord Beaverbrook Art Gallery expansion project and expansion of the Fredericton food bank.
Currently Shannon continues to explore the fields of portrait, documentary, fine art photography and design working professionally with the government of Canada and independently as a freelance photographer.
